Trommel Screen Materials & Details
Detailed product information, material, options and specification notes.
A rotating drum screen for high-volume bulk solids – compost, soil, wood chips and construction waste – where a flat deck would blind or clog. XiaoJiao Trading Co. supplies trommel screens built to order, in shafted or shaftless form, for wet and dry duty.
Drum Diameter and Length Options
Drum diameter, length and rotation speed are sized against your material and target capacity rather than fixed to a standard type chart. Shafted drums suit heavy, lumpy feed; shaftless drums handle sticky, entangling material that would wrap a shaft.
Screen Plate or Mesh
The drum surface is specified per application: punched plate for coarse cuts, woven mesh sections for finer separation, or a combination along the drum axis to make two cuts in one machine.
Anti-Clogging Brushes
For damp or clay-bearing material, brush or scraper arrangements keep the apertures open. The drum inclination and speed are tuned so material tumbles rather than slides, which is what keeps the cut sharp.
Drive and Frame
Motorized drum drive on a heavy steel frame, with dust enclosure and discharge chutes arranged to match your layout. Wear plates are replaceable so the frame outlives several sets of screening surfaces.
Capacity Estimates
Capacity depends on drum size, aperture and moisture. Send the material description and target tonnage with the RFQ and the proposal will include a sized drum, drawing and drive data.

Trommel Screen FAQ
Short answers for buyers, SEO and GEO, not a thin one-line FAQ block.
Do you have standard trommel sizes?
The drum is built to order, but common diameter and length combinations are repeat work - the quotation will show what is closest to your duty and what changes. Q: Are you a factory or a trading company? A: XiaoJiao Trading Co., Ltd. is a sourcing and export company based in Changyuan, Henan, China. We supply this equipment through a long-term partner manufacturing base in Henan with over 40,000 m2 of workshops, and we handle specification review, quality control, export documents and after-sales coordination. Q: What is your minimum order quantity? A: One set. Trial orders with special configurations are accepted, and unit pricing improves with quantity. Q: Can the machine be customized? A: Yes. Deck layout, mesh size, contact material, motor voltage and frequency (110-480 V, 50/60 Hz), and inlet or outlet positions are configured to your application. Q: How are price and lead time confirmed? A: We quote after your material, target mesh, capacity and layout requirements are confirmed, and the delivery schedule is written into the proforma invoice rather than given as a verbal estimate. Q: Do the machines come with CE marking? A: Machines are not supplied with CE marking as standard. Material certificates and third-party inspection or testing, including pre-shipment inspection with photo and video records, can be arranged on request. Q: What payment terms do you accept? A: T/T bank transfer. Alternative arrangements can be discussed for established buyers.
