A tumbler screen copies the hand-sieving motion, giving several times the effective output of a round screen on fragile or static-prone material. The YBS series supplied by XiaoJiao Trading Co. runs from 0.68 to 5.30 m2 of screen area in five models, with 1-5 decks per machine.
Tumbler Screening Motion Explained
Instead of sharp vertical vibration, the tumbler screen uses a low-speed swinging and tumbling motion (180-260 cycles/min) with a 5-8 degree tilt. Material spreads gently across the deck the way it does in hand sieving, which is gentle on granules and reduces mesh wear.
YBS Model Range
Five models: YBS-1000, 1200, 1600, 2000 and 2600. Screen area runs from 0.68 to 5.30 m2, drive power from 2.2 to 5.5 kW, and reference machine weight from 460 to 1,660 kg. Factory-rated screening efficiency is 95% or above. Deck cleaning options: bouncing ball, ultrasonic, or special brush.
Square Tumbler Variant
For larger installed area, the square tumbler screen uses 1536 / 2036 / 2040 (dm) deck sizes in single or double-body form with 3-5 layers and 5.5-11 kW drives, on the same tumbling principle. This variant is quoted from the same product family.
Fragile and Static-Prone Materials
Typical duties: instant coffee and beverage powder, seasoning, granulated sugar, feed pellets, plastic granules and other products where breakage changes the product. The gentle motion also suits static-prone fine powder combined with ultrasonic cleaning.
Tilt and Cleaning Options
Deck tilt of 5-8 degrees combined with ball, ultrasonic or brush cleaning keeps the aperture open across long shifts. Cleaning type is chosen at specification stage together with your mesh range.
